PCM News : Soccergirl Inc. and Purecast

So, a few nights ago Marc Rose, PurecastMedia.Com's Vice-President of Programming, was checking out Soccergirl, a podcast out of Germantown, New York hosted by a twenty-five year old woman with a bead on the generalized angst of Gen Y America.

Soccergirl's podcast focused on her forced elimination (within seventy-two hours) from the Big Fish Hosting server. Why? She had supposedly exposed some nipple to the sainted eyes that scour the internet for prurient content.

Word spread at Purecast that one of our favorite podcasters was about to be cast into the hostless universe of ronan podcasters that wander the podosphere in search of a home.

Caleb de Florida, VP Web Presence at Purecast, contacted Soccergirl and offered her free hosting and other unmentionable amenities.

And Soccergirl said, "Yes."

So, the PurecastMedia.Com family of podcasters is growing. And, there is zero possibility that Soccergirl will ever suffer at the hands of a Grand Inquisitor as regards her content as long as she hangs with us.

At PurecastMedia.Com we are one hundred percent committed to censorship-free, passionate expression. Period. We're not interested in "polishing" the podosphere for public consumption or for sponsors. Truth be told, podcasters, the public and sponsors will best be served by staying true to the original vision of podcasting.

Sg, inc., is now number 29 on Podcastalley overall, and in the "general" category (where they put the show because they didn't know what to do with me), Sg, inc. is number 7 out of 727 total "general" podcasts!!! Also, we're in the top ten on Podcast Pickle! This is absolutely wonderful because the more people that find out about Sg, inc. the more people will contribute their ideas and stuff and that'll make Sg, inc. better! It's a snowball effect guys. A fucking avalanche effect more like. Just think how just a short time ago we were teeny potatoes. Now we're like medium sized ones. I sure do love medium sized potatoes. ... in other news...
